I've always liked street style photography, ever since I was watching Vogue or Harper's Bazaar. Where, of course, they always showed fashion. But I think these photos aren’t just about fashion.
These photographs always carried their own certain atmosphere.
This is not a staged photo. This is a style without rules, and this is it's magic.
You can shoot during the day, morning, and night.
When the sun, wind or rain.
Before, I really wanted to work as a photographer in this style.
But opportunities were not provided.
And when I read the assignment, I thought for a moment
«what will be my project».
After being in the skin of the photographer, I learned that the success of photography lies in the effect of surprise.
The more spontaneous the frame, the cooler it is.
Being a photographer wasn’t easy. It was hard to be a storyteller. It was also hard to film when the wind was blowing.
But the wind makes the hair in the photo not obedient, and the frame is more natural.
Next time I’d pick a different shooting time. Like a summer evening, a sunset. Golden autumn, cloudy day or rain.
It would be a very different atmosphere in the picture.
Why are the photos black and white.
I love black and white shots. This is a game of two opposites: light and darkness, light and shadow.
